FROM YESTERDAY TO TODAY
ZEKI BILLIARDS
Zeki Dolma's passion for billiards began when he was just 10 years old. While working in the maritime industry during his youth, his admiration for the quality of billiard tables worldwide inspired him to strive to improve the quality of tables in his own country. His dream was to one day own a large house and play at a high-quality billiard table.
Despite never having received formal billiards training, he ran billiard halls until 1979, after which he began producing tables using valuable and exotic woods not found in his country. Through this initiative, he succeeded in raising Turkish billiards to European and world standards.
1979 marked a turning point for Zeki Dolma, as his lifelong dedication to the sport of billiards was channeled into the production of high-quality billiard tables. His passion and commitment not only resulted in the creation of exceptional tables but also made significant contributions to the training of professional players and the overall development of the sport. These influences and contributions have made Zeki Dolma an indispensable figure within the billiards community, earning him the title "The Zeki Father of Billiards."
Initiated in 1993 under the leadership of Zeki Dolma and renewed in 2018, the sponsorship process has strengthened the aim of supporting the Turkish Billiards Federation and providing support to national and local players.
